Commonwealth and NPR Tiny Desk join forces in this special capsule collection that celebrates the longstanding connection between the two internationally-known brands. For this season, Commonwealth produced an apparel and accessories capsule with a "Big Tunes" motif, both a nod to Jamaican dancehall culture and to the large impact that the Tiny Desk concerts have made since their start almost 15 years ago.
"This Tiny Desk x Commonwealth collaboration was a long time coming. For nearly 15 years, we’ve formed a bond with Commonwealth and I’ve proudly rocked their brand. Their D.C. shop is still my go-to for all things clothing, and I’ve worked with them on countless events through my DJ work. They are staunch supporters of NPR and the Tiny Desk, and are one of the few brands to see multiple Tiny Desk concerts in person at NPR HQ... we figured there’s no better time than now to partner up,” said Bobby Carter, the Tiny Desk’s series producer.
