Jean Touitou graduated from the Sorbonne in Paris with a history degree and no intention of becoming a fashion designer. Entirely by accident, he landed his first job with Kenzo, followed by a stint at agnès b before deciding to go his own way in 1987 with the launch of A.P.C. Short for Atelier de Production et de Création, A.P.C. is known for carrying the basics that you need for building a good-looking, clean outfit produced with great craftsmanship.
