The Stores

The Commonwealth stores showcase brands that tap into the independent spirit of counter culture. Creating and fulfilling the demand for new and established street, fashion, and sportswear brands that influence and inspire.

Helping to build a community of individuals with diverse interests, Commonwealth strives to educate and expose its patrons and friends to recognized artists, designers, and photographers. Through exhibitions and special in-store events, Commonwealth has showcased the original works of Dust La Rock, Cody Hudson, Atiba Jefferson, Eric Coleman, and Andy Howell. In addition, Commonwealth has worked closely with musicians N*E*R*D, the Clipse, Diplo, Q-Tip, Wale, Kenna, Bun B, 9th Wonder, DJ Neil Armstrong, and A-Trak to help advance and promote the different aspects that compromise this cultural movement.

The compilation of select accounts and hard work has caught the attention of the industry's media. Selected for Detail magazine's "Best Stores in America, GQ magazine's "Top 100 Stores" men should shop at, and Complex magazine's Buyers Guide "Coolest 25 Stores". Commonwealth has also been featured or mentioned in The New York Times, The Washington Post, Streetwear Today, and numerous online magazines and websites.
